le défilé renault ® the carwalk
The project delivers a high-performance, content-driven website for Renault, built with Astro and Vue 3 and powered by Storyblok. Editors manage all content through reusable Storyblok components, including slideshows, mosaics, tabs, stories, and pop-ins, enabling flexible page creation without developer support. A key technical challenge was implementing a floating navigation widget that dynamically reads context from the active blok and updates in real time. To achieve this, the team leveraged StoryblokComponent and automatic component mapping, ensuring that each blok from Storyblok is seamlessly resolved to its corresponding Astro or Vue component without manual routing. From an infrastructure perspective, the solution uses Storyblok image transformations alongside CloudFront for image delivery and static assets, while Varnish handles HTML caching with fine-grained cache tags invalidated via Storyblok webhooks. Redis is used to share site configuration and external data across pods. Additionally, Storyblok Live Preview was implemented through the Astro integration, providing editors with a real-time preview experience during content creation.
