Food Check

The Food Check application, developed by Bytes & Pixels, is a popular product scanner app for iOS and Android. It allows the user to scan and search for over 2 million products and learn more about them. It shows the user what products are vegan, Gluten free and much more. We extended the app by a help center in which app editors can add articles (e.g. "What is a Nutri-Score", "Gluten free diet advice") without having to do an app store release. For that functionality we completely relied on Storyblok. We also added the possibility to add more information about food additives and ingredients via storyblok without having to touch the application code. This information can be access directly as in app overlay when clicking on the additive. We used Flutter and the Storyblok GraphQL API for the development of the app.
